What the product will and will not do
Describe uncertainty
Show home, draw and away probabilities, explain the locked record and publish long-run accuracy and calibration.
Promise profit
Accept a stake, recommend a bookmaker, generate a staking plan or call an uncertain match a guaranteed winner.
Model probability is not the same as bookmaker odds or expected value. Even a well-calibrated forecast can lose repeatedly in a short run.
Before choosing to bet
- Confirm that you are above the legal age and betting is legal where you are.
- Use only money that remains after food, housing, transport, healthcare, education and debt obligations.
- Set a small fixed limit before the match; do not increase it because a prediction looks confident.
- Never borrow, use credit or sell something to fund gambling.
- Do not chase a loss, combine more selections to “win it back” or treat a streak as evidence of certainty.
- Avoid betting when distressed, intoxicated, under pressure or hiding the activity from people close to you.
Warning signs of harm
Stop and seek support if gambling is taking more time or money than you intended, affecting sleep or relationships, creating debt, causing you to lie, or making you feel that another bet is the only way out. A forecast site cannot assess or treat gambling harm.
Close betting accounts or use their time-out and self-exclusion controls, block gambling transactions where your financial provider supports it, and speak with a trusted person or qualified local support service. If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services now.
Children and self-excluded users
The service is not directed to children and should not be used to encourage underage betting. If you have self-excluded or decided to stop gambling, do not use prediction content as a substitute route back into betting. Use the site only for general model education, or leave it entirely if the content is a trigger.
